Development Coordinator

• Maintain and update the donor database – Donor Perfect Online
• Data entry of donor information
• Oversee moves management for donors
• Process gifts and prepare acknowledgment letters daily
• Analyze Development data to prepare scheduled (Board, Development Committee) and customized reports upon request
• Assist in the management of the Annual Giving program
• Coordinate segmentation of database to manage appeals and reporting
• Assist with creation of strategies to move prospective donors through the solicitation pipeline
• Prospect research and presentation to Vice President, Advancement
• Help plan and coordinate events, including quarterly luncheons and special events
• Reconcile all gifts with the Business Office, monthly
• Assist Accounting Director with annual Audit
• Manage Sponsor-a-Student program
• Manage and mentor student worker
• Oversee student written Thank You cards to donors
• Provide donor data, reports and support for Capital Campaign (2019 – 2021)
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Vice President, Advancement

• College degree
• Experience with donor database software (Donor Perfect is currently used)
• Proficient in data entry, database reporting, queries and reports
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic office systems
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently and professionally
• Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to flexibly prioritize and balance multiple projects and requests
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Consistent attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to quality
• Ability to handle confidential information
• A friendly and confident personality
• Familiarity with an academic setting, preferred

The Development Coordinator is a key member of the Development and Communications team, currently consisting of the Vice President, Advancement, Grant Writer and Marketing and Communications Manager. The Development Coordinator interacts with the school President as needed to support Development efforts.
