People Incorporated serves people with mental illness in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul metro area. In 2017, we reached over 12,000 individuals through more than 60 different programs. We are searching for an Annual Fund & Donor Relations Officer to join our Development team.  Our Development team shares the mission and vision of People Incorporated with our donors. This position creates and implements a comprehensive annual giving strategy that accomplishes fundraising goals that serve People Incorporated’s mission and business objectives.  The responsibilities include:

*Produce, maintain and organize annual campaign materials and data
*Implement donor recognition events and annual fund planning
*Develop and cultivate relationships with individuals, families, sponsors, volunteers and other resources that result in increased and/or sustained giving
*Collaborate with Marketing and Communications department on the preparation of solicitation packets, client stories and other stewardship materials designed for donors
*Lead the efforts of the annual staff campaign

Required qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree
*Three years of experience working in Development which could include donor relations, outreach, event coordination, etc.
*Skilled in use of Raisers Edge/ NXT data base, or other CRM system

Preferred qualifications:

*Master’s degree in related field
*Experience using data to establish goals, monitor implementation and measure success
*Development experience within an organization that provides services to those with mental health needs
