The Ordway:
The Ordway, recognized as one of the U.S.’s leading not-for-profit performing arts centers, is home to a wide variety of performances throughout the year that encompass the finest in musical theater, world music, dance, and vocal artists. Performances take place in the 1,900-seat Music Theater and a 1,100-seat Concert Hall. Position Purpose:
The Institutional Partnerships Coordinator works closely with the Director of Institutional Relations to maintain and expand all levels of grants and sponsorships. The Coordinator assists in stewarding current funders and managing grants, while expanding the engagement of additional foundations and corporations in order to meet and exceed the organization’s grants and sponsorship goals.

Key Performance Areas
•    Coordinate solicitations for corporate and foundation renewals and prospects by maintaining a solicitation calendar and proactively managing deadlines.
•    Ensure strong communications with corporate and foundation partners and that all contract benefits are delivered, including overseeing proper treatment of partner names and logos in Ordway collateral.
•    Write grant reports, recognition letters, and assist in creating proposals for foundation and corporate prospects.
•    Coordinate corporate sponsor events and ongoing, timely administration of corporate ticket discount program.
•    Monitor industry trends and identify corporate and foundation prospects for sponsorship and philanthropic giving.
•    Regularly maintain and update corporate and foundation records.
•    Participate on committees and project teams, as appropriate.
•    The Ordway is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and inclusive excellence of the organization and promote a culture of respect.

Other Qualifications
•    High school diploma or GED required, B.A. or B.S. preferred.
•    Three to five years of executive assistance or office management/coordination including customer relations, preparation of financial reports, database management, and general office skills, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
•    Exemplary writing and editing abilities.
•    Eagle-eye attention to detail and commitment to timely and high quality work product.
•    Equally comfortable in external and internal roles, demonstrating a warm demeanor in developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
•    Self-starter with a strong level of initiative and great team player who has a willingness to learn a wide range of duties.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with donor databases is a plus.
•    High degree of sensitivity for confidentiality.
•    Reliable transportation required.
