Speaker: Bruce W. Flessner, founding partner, Bentz Whaley Flessner
Philanthropy has been hurt by the Great Recession and giving to all types of organizations has suffered. The outlook for 2010 should improve and Bruce Flessner will look at the giving trends. He will also look at the changes in donor behavior throughout the next few years as the economy recovers.
Bruce W. Flessner is a founding partner at Bentz Whaley Flessner, an international full service fundraising consulting firm. Mr. Flessner is recognized by the national press as an expert on new wealth philanthropy, having been cited and quoted in multiple publications, and has also written articles for CASE Currents, CASE Handbooks, AFP Journal, and other publications. In addition, he has served on the board of New Ventures in Philanthropy. Most importantly, he is a former treasurer of the Minnesota Chapter of AFP and been a member of the chapter for over 30 years.
