The Donor Relations Analyst is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of donor data and ensuring best practices in donor data management. This position creates financial reports in the fund development application and supports data procurement projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•    Oversee data mapping and migration from existing donor data application to new application
•    Function as Fund Development database/technical expert which includes providing recommendations and/or making decisions on configuration to maximize software functionality; coaching/training other staff
•    Using on-line tools and wealth analytics, “mine” our data to identify donor prospects
•    Create queries and reports for fundraising team using Excel and application reporting tools, reviewing for accuracy and trends. Able to determine what data is needed and how to best structure reports in order to answer the questions posed. Help Fund Development staff interpret reports.
•    Manage electronic processes, including but not limited to confirming volunteer hours, matching gifts, compliance notices, updating confidential benefactor information, etc
•    Create electronic donor records and ensure ongoing day-to-day database administration following policies, protocols, and procedures
•    Ensure timely and accurate donation entry, acknowledgment, and tracking (for own data entry or when providing work direction to others who are entering data)
•    Working with Finance/Accounting function, determine root cause for errors/inconsistencies and develop processes for preventing

Education and Experience
•    Required: Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience in related field
•    Preferred: Three years of relevant work experience. Experience in a fund development environment including knowledge of fundraising applications/data bases highly desired.
