The Catholic Community Foundation of Minnesota (CCF) invites applications for the position of Database and Prospect Research Analyst.

This position supports CCF’s development and marketing efforts through database management, datamining, prospect research, board support, and other needs as they arise. This full-time FTE position reports to the Vice President of Development and Donor Engagement and is central in maintaining excellent prospect and donor relationships as well as equipping development staff to leverage each other’s work for opportunities through strategic organization and utilization of the foundations constituent database. It is also key to communicating development progress to the CCF Board of Directors and providing list management and segmentation in support of the work of the Director of Strategic Communications.

Key responsibilities as related to the database role are focused in two areas — overseeing the database and taking responsibility/leadership for its current use and for future improvements; and the day-to-day input of data and report generation (gift opportunity pipelines, development staff portfolio lists, e-mail lists, mailing lists, reports to assist in planning strategic/effective events, quarterly development reports for Committee/Board meetings, and additional reports that will assist development staff in portfolio tracking and management efforts and in work with prospects, donors, and volunteers).

Relative to the prospect research component of the position, key responsibilities include reviewing the database to help identify prospects/donors, taking the initiative to generate reports on various prospect and donor segments, updating prospect and donor relationship records, maintaining a working knowledge of wealth screening and propensity applications and applying those tools and methodologies towards the advancement of staff and volunteer portfolios, and miscellaneous department and organizational research needs as they arise.

The position requires a strategic, systematic, patient, organized, motivated, and efficient self-starter with strong technology skills, attention to detail, and problem solving abilities. A Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in data services and constituent relationship management platforms is required.
